How to avoid overeating during holidays!

Updated: Dec 12, 2020

It’s that time of year!

Food is one of the main staples of the holiday season, especially in November! With Thanksgiving coming up, I know we are all in need of some tips to avoid overeating! Enjoy yourself, but don’t forget to take care of your body as well.

Eat Every 3 Hours!

Eat a small healthysnack in between meals to keep from getting too hungry.

Don’t Skip Breakfast!

The Cardinal Rule.

Don’t Fill up on Empty Food.

Eat fruits & veggies – not empty carbs like bread & sweets.

Protein!

Include protein in every meal.

Nut Butter!

Eating a spoonful of a nut butter before you go out to eat – you won’t fill up on empty foods!

Healthy Fats

Get rid of sugar cravings by eating healthy fats! (avocado, etc.)

Eat Slowly!

Don’t swallow before chewing your bite at least 10 times!
