Pre-Workout Energy Bites

  1. 1 cup sunflower butter

  2. 1 cup almond butter or peanut butter

  3. 1/4 cup chopped roasted almonds

  4. 1/4 cup ground flax seeds

  5. 3/4 cup honey or agave nectar

  6. 2/3 cup vanilla protein powder

  7. 1-2 cups raw medium shredded coconut

  8. 1/4 cup oat bran


  1. Mix together all ingredients except coconut in large mixing bowl. Mix well.

  2. Using a spoon, scoop out tablespoon-sized balls from the mixture, roll with hands to create small balls.

  3. In a separate dish, spread out shredded coconut. Roll each bite in coconut. Enjoy!
